3 Cards 1 Stamp set

Hello!

I had fun playing with the gorgeous Concord and 9th Hello Lovely stamp set.

Here I gold embossed and colored with watercolors using Derwent Inktense pencils.

For the second card I used Spectrum Noir Markers and Prisma pencils,

and lastly white embossed and colored with Peerless Watercolors.

Use A Quote

I'm very excited to be a guest at A Vintage Journey today and to share my Use a Quote project.

I recently made this faux book card for my daughter's birthday and today's project is a matching box.
I happened to have a suitable size box in my 'stash' but I needed to change the design to one with a hinged lid. I also added an extra layer of chipboard to the sides to make it sturdy.

Here is my completed project:

I thought the quote was the perfect inspirational message for this project.
I used the same patterned papers I had used in the card and selected matching card stock and embellishments.  The ribbon serves as a tab to lift the hinged lid.

Here is the inside:

I distressed and inked all the edges and added lace to finish it off.

The inside of the hinged lid.

Once again all the edges were distressed and inked. I inserted a panel covered with satin material, added some lace and the two triangles of patterned paper which create a pocket.  A lace die cut border and pearls finished it off.

Here is a side view:

And a close-up.....

Thank you so much to A Vintage Journey for inviting me.  I enjoyed every minute of creating this for my sweet Kayleigh who turned 18 on the 18th May! Happy Birthday sweetheart ❤

Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by.

Friendship

Happy Sunday and Happy Mother's Day!

I have two cards I'd like to share today.  First up ......

I used Brusho's for the background, stencils and the stamp is Close To My Heart.

I'm playing along in the following challenges:

Mom

I was inspired to color after seeing the Mod Squad Let's Color Challenge.

I used a combination of Copics, SN markers and Prisma pencils.  "Mom" is foiled, added a frame and of course some sequins.

To end off I'd like to share a pin I saw on Pinterest ......

So true isn't it!  It really made me smile.

Have a wonderful day.

Best Mom

Hello and Happy Sunday!

My first card was made with Rubbernecker Daisy stamp and Oxide Inks (and loads of water!). I also added some Glimmer Mist for a bit of sparkle.

I must thank my friend Angie who suggested I add this card to some of the challenges mentioned ..... thank you Angie!

Positively Negative

The challenge at Mod Squad this week is Positively Negative and here is my entry:

I used Gina K Designs Stamps and patterned paper, and Cheery Lynn Alison's Ribbon die (available at Gina K Designs).

Thanks for looking - and stay positive (couldn't resist that ðŸ˜‰).

Mom

My last card today - for my dearest Mom who lives so far away.

I used Crafter's Companion Ornamental Screen die, Spellbinders Fancy Tags Trio die, Flowers stamp and dies from Gina K Designs, sentiment stamp WPlus 9.

Thank you for looking and for your encouraging comments - they add sunshine to my day 😘

Have a wonderful week!
