You are Loved

I masked off the stem of the flower before inking so that I only stamped the actual flower.  I added more DI with my brushes to some areas and loads of water!  Some splatters to finish off.

Supplies used:
Concord & 9th You are Enough stamp
Distress inks

Just For You

Hello Friends,

Please forgive me for this very long post but I wasn't able to post my cards from last week-end.

My first card was inspired by this inspiration photo for the Altenew Challenge:-

Here is my card:-

I used Altenew's Peony Bouquet and Label Love stamp sets.  For the background I mixed Antique Linen Distress Paint and Gesso and applied this to my cardstock without smoothing it to create some texture.  I added a die cut from Cheery Lynn Designs Burlap Border  and a few Pretty Pink Posh clear droplets.

I'm also linking this to SSS Wednesday - Anything Goes Challenge and Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes with Dies.

Card made with Pastels

The next card I'd like to share is one I made after watching this video.  I was so excited to use my pastels on a card and to use them with Versamark. Love the effect.

My inspiration came from this Pinterest inspired photo for the Essentials by Ellen February Pin Sights Challenge.  I LOVE, LOVE these colors!

And here is my card (please click to enlarge).

And a close-up ....

I used Essentials by Ellen Mondo Hydrangea and Wonderful die (as a mask). I added some Shimmer Spritz and Nuvo drops for added interest.

Fun with Brusho's

As you can see from the title it was time to get all inky (yay 😊) with Brusho's.

I heat embossed Hero Arts Antique Rose stamp and applied my Brusho's. Simple but such fun to see the crystals turn to paint!

You're Special

This was was made with the Paper Smooches Love Challenge in mind.
This is a perfect card for a friend telling them how special they are.  That's love, right? 😉

I dry embossed with Paper Smooches Square Die, then did a bit of ink smooshing with Distress Inks.  I inlaid the Adorable Array die cut and heat embossed You're Special.

I think I need to make a few more of these as I'm blessed with special friends!

CAS Thank You card

This card was inspired by the Geometric Challenge at Mod Squad Challenge Blog.

I masked off a border on all four sides with masking tape and then created vertical 'stripes' using Tim Holtz Stripes stencil, clarity brushes and Distress Inks.  I then turned my stencil 90 degrees to create a geometric pattern.  Added the 'thank you' (Concord & 9th),  Nuvo drops and scoring to finish it off.

Beautiful Day

I loved the Inspirational photo at Essentials By Ellen Pin Sight Challenge so much, that I 'had' to make another card.

58fc33a4b2196b3d687ab65298a29cb9

This time I used Kuretake Gansai Tambi (soft aqua) watercolors for my background.  I heat embossed the flowers and sentiments from Mondo Magnolia on vellum and attached to my base with glue dots.

Once again I'm also linking this to SSS Wednesday Challenge.

You're my World

Hello friends,

A very quick post to share two cards which I made today.  First up is a CAS one layer card which I'll be linking to AAA Game #83ABNH CAS ChallengeCAS-ual Fridays Color Challenge and A2Z Scrapbooking February Challenge.

I used my negative die cut to mask off the card.  Both heart stamps and the sentiment are Hero Arts and I stamped off toward the bottom of the heart to create a slight ombre effect.  Lastly I added Wink of Stella.  Very simple.

With Sympathy

Hello friends!

As usual I have a few cards to share wtih you.

The first is a very simple card for the With Sympathy Challenge at  Stamp TV.

The stamp set is Gina K Designs Sympathy Duo and has a lovely sentiment which I used on the inside of the card.  The dies are Sizzix Mixed Media by Tim Holtz and Concord and 9th Floral and Flutter (NBUS).

I'll be entering Darnell's NBUS Challenge #10 and SSS Work It Wednesday.

Thanks for stopping by ........

Bubble Wrap and Alcohol Ink

My next two cards were inspired by Darnell's NBUS Challenge #10 with the optional theme of using Bubble Wrap.  I loved Darnell's cards and was excited to play with bubble wrap and alcohol inks.  I've used bubble wrap with paint but have not tried with alcohol inks - and I don't need much encouraging to get inky and experiment..... 😂

Here is my first card.  The die is Impression Obsession Bottom Greeting Edgers (NBUS).

I'm also linking this to Scrapy Land Anything Goes and SSS Work It Wednesday.

The first card was so much fun I had to make a second......

The heart die is Hero Arts and SSS You die.

Great Music?

My last card for today was created for CAS-ual Fridays music to my ears Challenge.  The sentiment is digital word art which I found long ago (I think it may be from here but I'm not 100% sure.... sorry :(
I thought the Crazy Birds would be a perfect match .....

I'm also linking this to SSS Pet's Corner Challenge - who doesn't love these crazy birds!

Thanks for visiting and have a wonderful week!

Hugs,
Zelda
