Just Because ....

Shaker Tag

Hello!

Here is a shaker tag I made for A2Z Scrapbooking Make It a Tag Challenge using Hero Arts Wishes Come True stamp set.  

The actual tag is heat embossed and then I used Distress Inks, and of course some shimmer to add some sparkle ;)  

I'll be adding this to Simon Says Powder Power Challenge.

Gift Set

Hi!

A very quick post (as the clock is ticking)!  I've not managed much crafting lately as my inspiration tank is running low.  I did manage to make a gift box and matching note cards for an upcoming birthday and I'm entering Simon Says Gift It Challenge.

Here is the gift box using Hero Arts Antique Rose stamp to which I added a bit of shading.

I kept the note cards very simple so they can be utilized for any occasion.

My next card was inspired by the Color Inspiration - Fall Colors Challenge over at Mod Squad.  Here is the gorgeous color palette:

I used watercolor paper and distress inks and went for a bold and sketchy look (it's fun to color outside the lines ;)  The stamp set is A Year of Flowers 2 (Gina K Designs).

Hello friends,

I have two cards I'd like to share with you today.

For my first card I used Essentials by Ellen Mondo Peony stamp and had fun with watercolors.  The gorgeous bold sentiment is Concord & 9th.  I added some shimmer spray to my peony and of course some splatters.  For further interest I added a strip of pp from MFT and a painted strip of watercolor paper.

Negative Painting

This card was inspired by the Use Foliage challenge over at Mod Squad.  I love leaves and fall colors and felt inspired to paint!   I used Gina K Designs stamps (Stamper's Favorite and Sending Love), Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors and Archers Watercolor paper. 

I'll also participate in Take It Make It Challenge and Time Out Word Challenge, Simon Says Stamp Anything Goes, Simon Says Stamp Challenge and Simon Says Work It Wednesday and Virginia's View Challenge #23.

CAS B&W & pop of color

Last up is a card for Cas-ual Fridays Challenge where we need to use black, white and a pop of color.  I used Casual Fridays Mon Ami stamp and colored the image with pencils.  Added washi and a bit of metallic thread. 

I'm adding this card to Simon Says Anything Goes Challenge, Simon Says Stamp It Challenge and Simon Says Work It Wednesday Challenge.
