I'm back to share two projects. First is an Art Journal Page using 2 (NBUS) stencils both from The Crafter's Workshop (Sunflower and Art Is), Brusho's and Distress Oxide Ink.

Once the sunflower had dried, I applied Distress Oxide to the background, placed the Art Is stencil on top and removed the ink with baby wipes.
For continuity I used the same stencil on the layering journal page, added light sunflower stamped images and some washi to finish it off.
Art is just another way of expressing our innermost thoughts onto concrete media. Where form and function come together in beauty, color and shape. We put our feelings and experiences onto paper, canvas, surfaces of all kinds. Allowing ourselves to release and surrender to this all encompassing force. This need to register what was today what might be tomorrow. And what was yesterday and the day before that.
I'm linking this to Mod Squad Fall Challenge, NBUS Challenge #12, HLS Watercolor Challenge, Stamplorations Mixed Media Challenge and Simon Says Anything Goes.
